HANNAH – FIGURE DRAWING – ART PRINT

An original indigo art print which features a figure drawing of a woman. Printed in indigo on linen. Limited edition of 50 prints. We number and sign each on the front. This design is handmade in the West of Ireland using linoleum printmaking and calico printing techniques.

ABOUT THIS PRINT

This indigo print features a figure drawing of a female nude. To obtain a dark, saturated indigo colour on linen, we print our designs individually using one of our handcut blocks, and subsequently reduce them to the point in which edge haloing occurs. As a result, each print has slight variations due to the nature of the technique, so tone and details may vary. We mount, encase and seal your print between acrylic glass and hardboard backing into a frame package that fits a standard 8” x 10” (203mm x 254mm) frame. We recommend framing of the frame package by a professional. Please note you can scratch your print cover if it isn’t inserted in a frame, so handle accordingly to keep your print in the best condition!

We source our linen from Baird McNutt in County Antrim, Northern Ireland (149 gsm); and our natural indigo dyestuff is from Tamil Nadu in southern India.

Frame is not included in the final product.
